Welcome to the 4th TPD Awards at the 8th TPD & Induced Proximity Summit
The Annual TPD & Induced Proximity Awards honor outstanding achievements in targeted protein degradation, celebrating recent breakthroughs, enduring dedication, and the rising innovators shaping the future of the field.
Start Up of the Year Award
This award recognises an organisation founded between October 2024-25 that has introduced a substantial innovation in the field of induced proximity-based therapeutics. Whether through the development of novel modalities or mechanisms of action, transformative platforms, the recipient has significantly advanced the capabilities and scope of targeted protein degradation. Emphasis is placed on work that challenges conventional paradigms, offers broad scientific applicability, and drives practical or translational progress in proximity-induced protein modulation.
Biotech of the Year Award
Recognizing a biotechnology company that has made a significant impact on the TPD landscape over the past year through the achievement of significant strategic and scientific milestones. This award celebrates outstanding advancements in research, clinical development, and industry leadership, positioning the recipient as a trailblazer in the translation of TPD science into therapeutic reality.

Crews & Deshaies Award for the Induced Proximity Innovator of the Year
"The concept of modulating protein function through induced proximity has the potential to utterly transform what is possible to achieve with pharmacotherapy. The field is approaching the crucial milestone of regulatory approval for a prospectively-developed degrader molecule, but this is only ‘the end of the beginning’. New ideas will propel the field forward in new directions, and we seek to recognize the leading innovators with this award." — Ray Deshaies
“It’s been exciting to watch the Induced Proximity field go from a Chemical Biology concept to the cusp of possible FDA approval. Given the current excitement and momentum in the field, it is a good time for the community to recognize those innovators who are pushing the boundaries of ‘what is possible’.” — Craig Crews
