The Peptide Drug Hunting Consortium is a scientific and educational 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 2024 to accelerate the development of innovative peptide therapeutics. By connecting leaders from academia, biotech, pharma, investment, and R&D services, the Consortium fosters a global network dedicated to advancing peptide drug discovery.
Peptides occupy a unique space between small molecules and antibodies, offering solutions for previously undruggable targets. However, challenges such as limited oral bioavailability, intracellular delivery, and high development costs must be overcome to unlock their full potential.
Through shared knowledge, mentorship, and strategic support of science and technology initiatives, the Consortium empowers the peptide community to de-risk development, improve translational success, and bring novel therapies to patients in need.
