Feng Wang
Senior Principal Scientist & Head of Protein Homeostasis Group Pfizer
Dr. Feng Wang is a Senior Principal Scientist and Head of the Protein Homeostasis Group at Pfizer, where he leads discovery efforts focused on targeted protein degradation and proteostasis-based therapeutics. With nearly seven years at Pfizer, he has played a key role in advancing strategies to modulate the ubiquitin-proteasome system and protein stability in drug development.
Before joining Pfizer, Feng spent close to four years at Progenra, Inc., where he served as Assistant Director of R&D and contributed to pioneering research in ubiquitin ligases and deubiquitinases. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The University of Texas at Austin and holds a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the same institution, as well as a Master’s in Biochemistry from Xiamen University. His expertise spans protein degradation, drug discovery, and translational biology.
